I am a psychologist registered with the Brazilian Council of Psychology (CRP/RS 07/39131). I have experience in clinical care and intercultural assistance for exchange students and expatriate families. Since 2024, I have been a volunteer at Associação Ombro Amigo, which provides support to Brazilians living in Germany.
Throughout my life, I have participated in several events outside my home city, lasting from a few days to a few months, including three exchange programs in the United States as a young adult. Each experience brought its own challenges, which I had to face and overcome.
In 2022, my wife and I decided to move to Germany in search of experiences we would not have in Brazil. I knew the challenges would be greater - and they were -, but knowing the challenge does not mean being prepared. Only by living them was it possible to understand and face these obstacles.
It is this first-hand experience as an immigrant, combined with my training in Psychology, that I offer as support in your adaptation process.
